Screeching sound on my Wrangler 4xe

My Jeep decided to serenade me with an unusual high-pitched screech sound last night after work. It came from the back seat, like a tiny metal singer who needed to adjust her pitch. Called my dealer and they said that the culprit might be the battery coolant pump. Hopefully they got it right. Will have it replaced for free this weekend.

Same here! I only hear the noise when I'm charging my 4xe, and it goes away after a while. My car's performance appears to be fine though, so I'm not that worried..

It is best if you have regular maintenance on your car, the feeling of being safe when you know that your partner on the road is in its prime condition. Nothing will go wrong if you regularly check your car and it avoids more expensive repairs later on.

This is not about having been properly maintained since this is a common issue regardless if maintained or not. I noticed this noise in my 4xe as well. I think it's the car's fuel pressurization pump.

I just heard a humming sound coming from the back of my car for the first time. It only occurs when I plug it in to charge overnight and then disappears in the morning. I've had the car for a year and have never ever heard this noise before.
