I'm torn. Part of me thinks it'll be ages before we see EVs dominating the trails. They're hefty and range anxiety in the backwoods is a real concern. But then I hear stories like my buddy's Rivian keeping up with a Jeep club, bone stock no less! Makes you wonder if the weight is really that big of a handicap. Plus, that massive battery pack could be a game-changer for powering winches, lights, and even campsites. So, what do you think? Are we closer to electric Jeeps conquering Moab than we realize? Anyone have experience wheeling an EV? What are the biggest challenges you foresee, and what kind of modifications (if any) would be essential?

Weight's a concern, but EVs have a low COG, which is great for Jeeps. That instant torque should help too. I'm excited to see what an electric Wrangler can do, if they let it perform properly.
