Sign me up! Seriously, for my beach runs, it'd be perfect, silent cruising, instant torque for sand, and honestly, I rarely go beyond a 50-mile radius. Imagine the off-road potential without the engine noise! Yeah, I know, some folks are gonna clutch their pearls about range and charging, but for my use case, it's a no-brainer. Anyone else see the appeal for localized off-roading? And what kind of battery tech would we need for a truly capable electric Wrangler that could handle more demanding trails?

I worry about an electric Wrangler off-road. You can't just haul 5 gallons of electricity to a dead vehicle, and taking extra batteries adds serious weight. For now, I think EVs are pretty much stuck in "civilized" areas.

I totally see the appeal! Silent cruising and instant torque would be perfect for off-roading, for demanding trails, we’d need a battery with higher energy density and faster charging.
