With the high cost and frequent battery recalls on the current 4xe, I wouldn’t hold my breath for FCA/Stellantis to deliver a reasonably priced, reliable BEV Wrangler anytime soon. Honestly, I’m betting on aftermarket EV conversions for the JK/JL to take off instead. It’s frustrating that we can’t import the Jimny, especially since a BEV version is on the way. A compact, off-road-capable EV like that would be a game-changer. Anyone else thinking aftermarket is the way to go?
