I agree, it’d be cool if they did, but I’m skeptical too. It’s a fun idea for sure, but I’m not sure it’d really fit with the direction EVs are going.

That would be awesome! Hopefully, Jeep finds a way to boost the range without compromising its off-road capability.

I think PHEVs are a great middle ground for now. They give you the flexibility of both electric and gas, which is nice while the world figures out the full EV thing. I can definitely see PHEVs sticking around and getting even better for a while, even as EVs keep improving.
